Q. What language is the software in?
A. Manuals and menus for all the products mentioned at the site are only in ENGLISH language. However, all of our software allows you to print labels in any language, or add bar codes to documents in any language. In addition, we support many European bar code symbologies.
Q. Will the product I want to order be compatible with my operating system?
A. Our software is available for a variety of operating systems. Please take care to select the correct operating system when downloading the software, If you have questions about compatibility with your operating system version,

Q. How is the software licensed?
A. All of the software sold by barcodeandlabeling.com is proprietary. That means that the software publisher grants you a license to use one or more copies of software, but the ownership of those copies remains with the software publisher. When you install the software you must read the license and accept it, or you many not use the software.
Q. What is the term of the license?
A. ISD offers both annual and perpetual software licenses, depending on the product
and application.
The license is a contract between ISD and you (the user of the software). The software license grants you specific, limited rights to use the software. It also allows ISD to retain ownership of the software so that they can continue to add features and control quality standards.

Annual license: Tattoo ID Enterprise and On-Tap (all versions) is sold with an annual license that includes the IMPACT maintenance and support program.30-days prior to the end of each annual term, the Licensee must renew the annual-term of the license through the payment of the license fee to rightfully continue to use the software, otherwise the Licensee must stop using the software and follow ISD's termination procedures.

Perpetual:My Tattoo ID and Tattoo ID Business Edition are sold with a perpetual license. This allows you to use the software for as long you continue to comply with the terms of the license agreement. The IMPACT maintenance plan is optional for perpetual systems, but highly recommended.
Q. Do I have to register/authorize my software?
A. Yes, ISD supports software licensing and intellectual property protection. Software registration and authorization allow proper tracking of software licenses.
Prior to using ISD's bar coding and label design software, the software must be registered and authorized. Open the software and get your site key, then call ISD support at 800.600.2242 or email
to receive your authorization code.
If you need to reauthorize your software, you can submit the Registration and Authorization Form to receive their authorization code by email. Authorization is required to obtain the full functionality and benefits of the purchased bar coding and label design software software. On all UNIX bar coding software and VMS bar coding software, authorization is effective for one year starting at the purchase date, thereafter reauthorization occurs annually upon required license renewal.
It is only after software authorization, that the customer is the licensee of the licensed software . ISD administrators will issue authorization codes only for customers who have issued a valid purchase order to ISD or have paid for the product in full by check or credit card. Under no circumstances will a customer who has an evaluation copy of ISD software be issued an authorization code unless the above circumstances have occurred.
Q. Can I purchase bar code and label printing software without the design?

Enterprise software includes one design station and multiple print stations, which gives
you the capability to design labels at one location and print in another.
